What is Hope for the Animals?
Hope for the animals is a no-kill animal rescue organization with its shelter located in Morrisville, PA. The organization was established in 1989 by a small group of volunteers who dedicated themselves to finding homes for unwanted, abandoned animals in the Bucks County area.
Our organization coordinates hundreds of animal adoptions per year. Each animal is tested, vaccinated, socialized and neutered. (If a pet is too young at the time of adoption to be spayed/neutered, an appointment will be made for the surgery at the appropriate age.) These activities are entirely volunteer-based and are funded by public donations.
Hope for the futureā¦
Our animal adoption center is currently located at the Fairless Hills PetSmart. We hope to establish a permanent animal shelter in the future.
Our Mission
- Find Forever Homes for the area’s many unwanted dogs and cats;
- Supplement the cost of veterinary care, particularly for homeless, foster, and adopted dogs and cats;
- Build a no-kill animal shelter in Bucks County.
